In PET Reading Part 2, you need to match five short descriptions of people (30-40 words each) to five texts (40-60 words each) from a selection of eight. Each description will tell you what a person is looking for—this could be related to activities, travel plans, hobbies, or personal interests. The goal is to find the text that best suits the person’s needs or preferences.
This part tests your ability to understand detailed information and make connections between different ideas. Sometimes, the answer won’t be directly obvious, so you’ll need to infer meaning and read carefully to avoid choosing the wrong match.
